The jargon is the moat
Multi-agents. Sub-agents. Harnesses. Memory layers.
I keep seeing these terms thrown around, and I think they do more harm than good. They make AI sound like something you need a certification for, when the day-to-day reality is much simpler.
The only thing that actually matters is your context: who you are, what you’re working on, what you’ve already decided, kept somewhere any tool can read.
You already know most of it. You already how to provide prompts to an LLM. And how it “remembers” what you talked about as you continue that thread. That’s nothing but context that is being fed again and again to the model.
The new part is just keeping all that context in an organized fashion and up to date. Do that for a few weeks and something compounds: the context gets richer, the answers get better, and it starts carrying real weight. Nothing dramatic, just steady.
Keep it in folders, organized by topic, flows, etc, with links between them so each task pulls in only the parts it needs. Small, cheap, relevant. That is how you get a repeatable flow with the best token efficiency, much better than any multi-agent setup burning tokens on everything at once. This is how I keep my context portable across Instinct, Muse, Perplexity, Codex, Claude Code, and whatever shows up next.
In the next posts I’ll show how I structure mine.
Did the hype keep you away too, or did you find the simple version on your own?
